Elias Andre

I document the world as I see it through my lens, creating visual field notes from a mix of digital and analog gear. Through a documentary approach and deliberate color grading, I work within the limits of my equipment to capture real, authentic scenes in an artistic and meaningful way.

I am a cinematographer based in NRW, Germany, available for commissions and collaborations involving creative film and video work.

Process & gear

Almost all moving images in this archive were shot on a Canon 70D running Magic Lantern, allowing me to record 14-bit RAW video in an open-gate 3:2 format. I edit in DaVinci Resolve and color grade with the SpektraFilm add-on.
